NASA Midwest&Great Lakes Region, Factory Five Challenge Series
Introduction:
He started racing go-karts in 1978 with the World Karting Association and moved into Midgets with UMARA & USAC. From there, he moved into SCCA road racing with a Spec Racer, Formula Ford, Legends Car and Baby Grand before building his Factory Five Cobra for the NASA FFR Challenge Series. He is the 2009 Midwest Champion and the runner-up in the Great Lakes region.
Current Season:
He hopes to run as many of the Midwest and Great Lakes Challenge Series as possible to retain his Midwest Championship. He plans to run 2 3-hour enduros with his wife in the Cobra.
Racing Goals:
He would like to be in a position to run for the National Championship when it returns to Mid-Ohio. He would also like to rent a GT-1 for the SCCA June Sprints at Road America.
Personal:
He is married with 2 cats and 2 dogs. He has an N-scale train and HO-scale slot car track in the basement with a 1:32 scale track in the planning stages. He also enjoys going to the local commercial slot car track. His wife also races a Baby Grand and the Cobra when she can get her hands on it.
