Team DivaSpeed to Run 25 Hours of Thunderhill

divaspeedbuttonwillowsm(Sonoma , CA) Fresh off another dominating victory in the E2 class, winning the 4 hour enduro at Infineon Raceway October 26, Team DivaSpeed owner Donna Gilio announced today that the Team would be taking on the ultimate endurance racing challenge: The 25 Hours of Thunderhill. Now in its fifth year running, the 25 Hours is touted as the longest endurance race in North America, and is held at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA on the weekend of December 5-6, 2008.

Teammates Donna Gilio and Karen Salvaggio, both endurance racing veterans, backed up their June victory at the 6 Hours of Buttonwillow, by taking top spot in their Acura Integra in this weekend’s race at the famed Infineon (Sears Point) Raceway in Sonoma, CA. Team DivaSpeed’s entry in the 25 Hours represents the first all-woman racing team to take on the 25 hour challenge, and teammates Donna Gilio, Karen Salvaggio, and Puerto Rico’s own Glory Fernandez say they are up for the ultimate test of driving skill and endurance.
