While we are all familiar with the event of auctioning cars at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, few of us have experienced the other events that surround the event. Ford Motor company was there with cars to auction, ride and drives, product demonstrations and more. Dr. Audrey Zavodsky was invited by another manufacturer to join in the event. She was demonstrating vehicle handling and product knowledge to interested car buffs.

She is shown (left) in front of the Ford exhibit with the mechanic who maintains the Formula Ford fleet at Bondurant's high performance driving school and Tim Maddux an instructor at the school. The company that had brought Dr. Audrey to the event stated that normally they "sell 3 or 4 units during this event". However, this time they "sold 40 vehicles." They went on to say that "the only difference in this years event from the prior years was the addition of Dr. Audrey."

Dr. Audrey said that she was "very grateful for the opportunity to talk about American products and to demonstrate their superior characteristics." She went on to say "the American consumer is uniformed about the great vehicles that America manufactures, the opportunities that they offer, and the confidence that the consumer can have in driving one." The fact that people are interested in our products and want to know more about them was impacted by the fact that the ride and drive where Dr. Audrey was. "had more takers than they could accommodate." Nevertheless Dr. Audrey said, "we spoke with every one of them and left no one without the opportunity to have some fun and learn."
