Annette Blenkarn: Canadian Female Racer Featured on Biography
Vancouver, B.C. - Annette Blenkarn, who has over 15
years of diverse race experience, will be featured on The
Biography Channels Girl Racers, a four-part
series on North Americas leading female race car drivers.
Starting September 15 at 10pm, narrator Jason Priestley follows
Blenkarn and seven other drivers as they navigate through
the highs and lows of the 2004 racing season.
"Im excited and honoured," said the 24 year
old racing phenom. "Female racers have come a long way
in just the past couple of years and it is gratifying to know
that I am one of the pioneers. It is only one step, though.
My goal is to not only race in the top ranks of open wheel
but to win."
Blenkarn, who hails from Aldergrove, BC, is preparing to
move to Indianapolis, Indiana in an effort to further her
open wheel training and further her dream of professional
racecar driving.
