Jean Nesser Attends Kids Kamp 2003

Jean "Showgirl" Nesser of Gonzales, Texas recently traveled to Pineville,Louisiana toattend the GABC (Green Acres Baptist Church) Kids Kamp 2003.

Jean was invited to attend Kids Kamp because this year's theme was"The Race is On!" Jean towed her #96 Chevy Nova racecar to the camp, which was held at the Louisiana College in Pineville from July 5th through July 8th. The Kamp was geared for completed 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders. Kids Kamp included awesome worship, incredible Bible study, swimming, crafts, sports and recreation, time with friends, camp food, snacks and special activities just for sixth graders.

At the Kamp Jean displayed her racecar, trophies, helmet and other racing paraphernalia. She also gave her testimonial at one of the morning services,which was an inspiration to all. She also autographed color picture flyers for the 100 kids who attended the camp and they even got to climb freely inside her #96 racecar. When campers were asked what their favorite part of the week was, Jean was one of their most popular answers! It's not everyday that a kid gets to meet a female NASCAR driver.
