Arlene
Pittman Still Shifting Gears During The "Off Season"
RICHMOND,
VA (December 20) -- Arlene Pittman, Goody's Dash Series NASCARTouring
racecar driver, does not just sit and spin her wheels during
the off season. Her efforts to promote the Dash Series and
Arlene Pittman Racing continue whether she is on or off the
track.
At
8:00 p.m. on December 20th, Pittman will be featured on Motor
Racing Digest with Joe and Kathy Kelly. This racing weekly
program, based in Richmond, VA has won 5 National Awards for
outstanding achievement in broadcasting. In the past, the
show has featured such guests as Bobby Allison, Bobby Labonte,
the Burton brothers, Rick Mast and the late Alan Kulwicki.
The
Kelly's have hosted a radio talk show on WARV 100.3 FM for
18 years, on which Pittman will be a featured guest at 5:10
p.m. on their December 19 drive home show.
Arlene
Pittman Racing has also signed a contract with Lucas Oil Products
as her primary sponsor for Daytona 2003. "We are so excited
to have Lucas Oil onboard with us in Daytona. We have made
some changes to the car and we hope to give them a Top Ten
in return," said Pittman.
She
is also busy promoting the Lucas Oil Georgia Triple Crown
Super Late Model Championship at three different racetrack
facilities on Jan. 31, 2003 Feb. 1 & 2, 2003.
Pittman
will be back in the seat of the #7 "Pink Fire" Pontiac
Sunfire for the Goody's Dash Series NASCARTouring 2003 season.
She finished 2002 15th in points out of a field of some 68
drivers.
