Deborah On California:
"It will be nice to get right back into the truck again
this week. We had a very good DODGE truck last week in Daytona
and just seemed to always get caught up in someone elses
mess. I have no doubt that we will have a very strong truck
once again this week and Arrington Engines supplies us with
awesome horsepower and that will be key at a big track such
as California. The track is wide and provides for plenty of
racing room which I think provides a good show for the fans.
I enjoyed racing at California last season and am looking
forward to returning there again. My goal this week is to
complete all of the laps and to bring this #8 Easy Care DODGE
home with a solid finish.
Deborah On Her New team:
Even though we had a disappointing finish in the season
opener at Daytona last week, I am just so excited about this
opportunity with the BHR2 team. This is a quality organization
with a dedicated group of guys who work their tails off each
day. This is the best situation I have been in so far in my
career and I cant express in words on how good that
feels. My excitement level for this season is at an all time
high and I just feel honored to be a part of this team and
working along side these guys. I think we will surprise a
lot of people this season and that will be fun.
Deborahs Busy Schedule:
Deborah will have a very busy schedule while on the west
coast. After the race on Friday evening, she will head over
to Las Vegas where her and the BHR2 team will test for two
days early next week at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. She
will then head south to the Phoenix area where she will conduct
a two day skid pad test and then on to the Bob Bondurant School
of High Performance Driving. This extensive seat time is all
part of a heavy early season testing schedule for Deborah
and the BHR2 team.
Career at California:
Deborah will be making her second career start at the California
Speedway. Last season in her debut at the 2-mile oval, Deborah
posted a 23rd place finish in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
race.
