Deborah Renshaw Michigan Preview
Michigan Deborah is coming off her second straight
top-20 finish after coming home 18th last week at the Texas
Motor Speedway. Michigan is one of my favorite areas
in the country and I went to college about two hours from
the track. I raced at the track for the first time last season
and was able to finish on the lead lap and gain some solid
experience. It is a fast and wide track that requires a strong
truck and my guys do a great job of preparing strong trucks
each week. Michigan is also just like the track out in California
and I ran very well there earlier this season so that is exciting.
Also, the last two weeks for me and this team has been exciting
and we are starting to get some of the results that we were
hopeful of at the start of the season. Once again it is important
for us to get in another solid run and hopefully get back
up into the top 30 in the points.
Renshaw is happy to announce the addition of the Savannah
Candle Co. as a new marketing partner. The program will feature
scented candles carrying the logo and name of Deborah as well
as a monthly special scent of Deborahs choice.
We are thrilled to have this opportunity to team up
with what we believe is one of the rising stars in NASCAR,
said Savannah Candle owner Dave Maruca. With the attention
female drivers have been getting recently we knew this would
be a great time for us to enter the world of motorsports.
Fan loyalty in this sport is unbelievable and with a product
that is geared mostly towards women we feel Deborah is the
perfect spokesperson for our company.
I am really excited about this partnership with Savannah
Candle, stated Deborah. I am always burning a
candle at home and to be involved in a program such as this
is really cool. I appreciate the opportunity to work with
the people at Savannah Candle and do some unique things in
this market.
Deborah will be racing Zombie this weekend at
Michigan. This will be the third race of the season for Deborah
in this truck with the previous starts being at Gateway and
at Dover where she earned her career best finish of 12th .
This will be the second career start at the Michigan International
Speedway for Deborah Renshaw. She competed at the 2.0-mile
oval last season in the Craftsman Truck Series event and come
home with a lead lap finish of 22nd.
