Deborah Renshaw Kentucky Preview
Kentucky This will be Deborah Renshaws
second start at the Kentucky Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman
Truck Series and she also has two career starts at the track
in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Kentucky and Nashville are
the tracks that I consider my home track. I made my NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series career debut here at Kentucky last
year as well as my first start in the ARCA RE/MAX Series about
three years ago - so the place has some special meaning for
me. I probably have the most amount of experience at the Kentucky
track that any other track we race at all year. I know that
my No. 8 DODGE truck will be strong this week and I need to
get a good run in. We were on a roll there for a few weeks
but lately it seems like we have struggled and I am not really
sure why. I think that this week will be a perfect place to
get back to our solid runs and gain some positive momentum
going into an off week.
CallSource will ride along with Renshaw as the primary sponsor
this week on her No. 8 DODGE. The company also was the primary
sponsor for the Lowes race earlier this season. A group
of 130 auto dealers will attend the Kentucky race courtesy
of CallSource, to cheer on Deborah Renshaw in the #8 CallSource
Dodge. The Westlake Village, California-based company is hosting
a hospitality event for members of the Kentucky Automobile
Dealers Association (KADA) and other national dealers. Jack
Kain, chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association
(NADA) will be attending the CallSource event and Deborah's
race, as will Ron Jackson, KADA's executive vice president.
CallSource, which provides call-tracking and recording, performance
analysis and sales training solutions to dealerships nationwide,
joined the BHR2 team as Deborah's sponsor in April 2005 and
will be her primary sponsor for the Kentucky race. "We
are overwhelmed by the level of interest and support Deborah
has received from her hometown dealers and are delighted that
Ron Jackson and Jack Kain will be joining us for the race,"
said CallSource CEO Jerry Feldman. "Deborah has been
finishing very strong in recent races and we hope that having
her local 'dealer fan club' in attendance will help her achieve
one of her best performances this season."
I think most of the drivers like to race close to their
hometown and I am in a unique situation as I have two tracks
that I consider my home track Kentucky and Nashville.
Kentucky is my home state and it is special that the NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series has a race in the state. We always
have a lot of friends and family come to Kentucky and root
us on and that means a lot. We are also having a big sponsor
outing this time around and that will be pretty neat as it
kind of ties in with my dads car dealerships. Hopefully
we can put on a good show for everyone in attendance cheering
for us and I think there will be plenty of them this week.
