Introduction: Dana Moore was introduced into racing when her dad gave her the opportunity to race in his C Sports Racer. She quickly became a well know strong competitor in the V.A.R.A. circuit winning overall several road racing events and always finishing in the top five. In 1999, she was selected to be a part of the American LeMan's WGGT series. Only running five races in 1999, she began the 2000 series by setting a track record in Sebring followed by setting another track record and winning a pole position at famous Road Atlanta in the Panoz GT. She finished up the season with a top 5 finish at Las Vegas and a Driver of the Year Award. In 2001, Dana switched to Legends and quickly began setting records in the Legends at Irwindale and Cajon Speedway. She won her second dirt track competition at Barona Speedway and a pole, fastest lap and best finish ever by a female at Irwindale within 7 Legends races. In 2002, Dana won 3 consecutive pole positions at Cajon Speedway and set the 2nd fastest lap ever in a Legends with the previous record having been set when the track was configured differently several years ago. She finished 3rd in points for the season and entered the Hitchin Post road racing competition in Las Vegas for the 2003/04 season. In February of 2004, Dana was running second in pro points to Kyle Busch when she fractured her neck. Surgery followed and in mid season 2004, Dana received her medical clearance to get back on the track. She moved to Mooresville, NC in August, 2004 and is pursuing a sponsorship for 2005 in the NASCAR circuit. Dana is a graduate of SCCA Super School, Russel School of Racing, Derek Daly Driving Academy and Bobby Ore's Stunt Driving School. Dana has made numerous appearances on major television networks and talk radio throughout the United States.

Current Season: Dana's 2003 racing season was cut short due to a fractured neck caused by a road racing incident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in February. Following surgery in the fall of 2003, she received her clearance for racing in mid 2004. In August, she bought a home on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC and is pursuing a sponsorship in the NASCAR circuit.

Racing Goals: Dana's goals is to continue competing in the NASCAR circuit and Sports Car competition on both oval and road racing courses. Dana loves road racing finding complex courses such as Road Atlanta and Infineon to be two of her favorite tracks. She hopes to create a career that offers her the opportunity to compete on both types of courses in stock and sports cars.

Personal: Dana's "children" today are an English Bulldog, Charlotte and a French Bulldog, Napoleon. They share their home with her fiancee, Brandon and his "child", Justice, an English Bulldog. Her hobbies while living in California included spending many hours riding her Quad in the desert and boating on the Colorado River in the summertime. She also volunteers her time speaking to youth at various schools promoting drug and alcohol free lifestyles. Dana was Miss California Intercontinental 2003, and has spent numerous hours training young women in skills like public speaking, interview competition and the importance of giving back to one's community. Dana attended Cuyamaca and Grossmont Community Colleges and National University where she studied theatre arts and marketing.
