Race Series: The Jamaica Karting Association in Kingston, Jamaica. 125cc Shifter Class Championship.

Introduction: Justine Jackson was born on November 18, 1990 in Kingston, Jamaica, to Andrew and Gillian Jackson along with her twin brother Sean Jackson who is only 10 minutes older.

As a kid, Justine, her dad and two brothers would attend many motorsports events in Jamaica such as rallies, dexterities and sprints but wasn?t hooked until September 2003 where she began her racing career at age 12 racing go-karts in the Junior Sportsman Rookie Class, racing for the Jetcon Racing Team which was sponsored by Jetcon Corporation Limited.

In 2004 she made the jump to the Junior Sportsman Yamaha class but was never to find success until 2005 where she raced in the Junior Rotax Class Championship. She had 6 class podium finishes out of 8 racemeets entered and attained her first race win in July 2005 at an International Race meet held locally which saw persons from Trinidad and Barbados attending. She would finish 3rd in the Championship.

2006 was another successful year for the young driver as she had 5 class podium finishes out of 8 racemeets entered, and received The Star of The Meet Award in October 2006 for an outstanding performance. In 2006 the Jamaica Karting Association held a street race in the streets of New Kingston entitled ?Red Bull Smokin? Streets? which aimed to find Jamaica?s Ultimate Driver. Justine finished 2nd in The Junior Rotax Class and qualified on the 3rd row for the Ultimate Driver race but was unable to start due to technical problems on the kart. She would then go on to finish 3rd in the Championship.

2007 was a very challenging year for Justine as she competed in the ICC 125cc Shifter Kart Class Championship. But she persevered and made the best of the circumstances. In 2007 she also completed a Skip Barber 3-day Racing School Course held at Virginia International Raceway (South Course) in Virginia, USA in August and was accepted to The Women in the Winner?s Circle Driver Development Program established by Lyn St. James, a former Indy Car and Indy 500 driver.

In 2008, Justine finished 2nd in the Rotax Senior Class Championship with 4 wins, 2 poles & 7 overall class podiums of 10 racemeets entered this season. She also finished 5th in the 125cc Shifter Class Championship with 2 overall class podium from 6 racemeets entered this season. She hopes next year to compete internationally as she takes another step towards achieving her goal of racing in Formula 1.

Justine is currently racing in the 125CC Shifter Class Championship as she seeks her first Championship title and she believes that with God as her guide she will succeed!

Racing Goals: Justine's goal is to race in FORMULA 1 and to carry her nation's flag high around the world.

Personal: Justine is a very hard-working individaul who loves and lives life to the fullest and fights for what she wants to achieve. She is fully committed to her racing and knows that that one day she will be racing in Formula 1. "No one tells me I can't do something because I can do ALL things through Christ who stremgthens me" as she like to say.
